[OWMStorenews] Apology from Volkswagen!!

I am so happy that reason and common sense do prevail once in while!  Here is the latest from Kevin and Renice:

Hi Laura, 

We are very pleased to let you know that today we recieved an apology and a
revocation of the Cease and Desist order from Volkswagen. Thanks you all for
the support, emails, calls to Volkswagen and the representation we were
given by the non profit lightyearsip.net.

Volkswagens letter recognizes the work that we and by extension you, our
customers, are involved in. We would like to make it clear that we hold no
ill feeling against Volkswagen and recognize that sometimes decisions are
made where the full facts are not known. Volkswagen has further offered to
open discussion on a license for the product to prevent any further
misunderstadings, it is our intention to ask that this be put in the name of
the artisans so that no other Fair Trade importer falls foul of the same
misunderstanding in the future.

The Volkswagen Model is back on sale,
