Thanks a million to all of you wonderful volunteers who helped with the 
rug event!  We sold 21 pieces this year for a total sales of $26,425!!  
It was a great sale, despite the terrible heat.  I am so glad that we 
continue to partcipate in this program.  A highlight for me was hearing 
Gil describe his conversation with a Pakistani man who told him that 
when people have jobs and their kids are in school, they have no time to 
worry about making war.  The man ended by saying "it is amazing how 
small is the price of peace."
