Shop and Share for Threshold
Thursday, May 15, 5:00 - 8:00

Threshold is modeled on the Clubhouse Rehabilitation Model established by Fountain House more than 40 years ago. Since opening our doors in 1985, our clubhouse has served over 450 Durham County adults with severe and persistent mental illness.
Central to the clubhouse model is membership. Clubhouses serve members, not patients or clients.
Members enjoy 4 basic rights:
- The right to a place to come
- The right to meaningful work
- The right to meaningful relationships
- The right to a place to return
I am well aware that mental health reform, as well as Medicaid cuts, have caused a profound effect on your program. But through your commitment of helping others and providing innovative programs, you've accepted these difficult challenges, and remained loyal to your members. Your dedication to the population is to be applauded.
Ellen Holliman, Durham Center Area Director
One World Market is proud to sponsor this event for Threshold. We will donate 10% of all sales to Threshold during the event. One World Market is a nonprofit, fair trade store dedicated to poverty alleviation and cross-cultural understanding.
